Sharra is the absolute best in the business. She saw something in Ayaan when he was 6 years old and suggested that we pursue acting if he was interested. I remember the first time I met Ms. Sharra. I was a little kid, and my mom said she found a new coach to help me with my acting. I was excited and eager to find out who this lady was. Little did I know that this woman would become the light in this world I didn’t know I needed. She’s helped me book things from voice-overs for White Castle and Pfizer to co-starring roles on shows like Michael Che and Saturday Night Live and several films, including my most recent film American Summer.

When I started working with you, I had little to no experience and was arguing with my mom about how we thought an audition should be filmed. Working with you has been a blessing in disguise because you showed me the levels acting could take me in this world. You worked with me through a lot of phases in my life, from when I was eager to be on TV with no knowledge of how these things even work to when I wanted to stop acting.
